Social Services Worker
Position Summary:
This is a professional position within the hospital, substance use disorder patients, and trauma settings which focuses on the bio-psycho-social variables that affect individual development and behavior, and uses theoretical frameworks to understand the interactions among individuals and between individuals and social systems. The Medical Social Worker is a member of the interdisciplinary team and works in collaboration with internal staff systems and external community agencies to facilitate identified patient bio-psycho-social needs.
II. Education
A. Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Behavioral Science or other related field
B. Successful completion of all fieldwork practice
C. A minimum of one year experience working in the social work role
